Goal of the Apprenticeship
The primary goal of this apprenticeship is to equip young professionals with the technical skills, industry insights, and workplace discipline required to qualify as millwrights. Participants will receive on-the-job training and classroom-based learning, combining both theoretical and practical components. Major Tasks and Expected Outcomes
During the apprenticeship, participants will:
- Assist qualified artisans and technicians in performing daily operational and maintenance tasks within BevCo’s plant facilities.
- Participate in structured learning modules that focus on mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting, equipment assembly, and preventive maintenance.
- Demonstrate progress through assessments and maintain evidence of learning and practical development in line with a personalized development plan.
- Comply with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures while executing assigned duties.
- Develop essential problem-solving and analytical thinking skills applicable to industrial operations.

Needed Qualifications
To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

- A valid Matric Certificate with Core Mathematics or Physical Science, achieving a minimum of 50% or higher in these subjects.
- N3 Certificate or equivalent qualification relevant to the millwright trade.

- High level of mental alertness, attention to detail, and analytical reasoning.
- Solid problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.

The Salary and Conditions of the Opportunity
This apprenticeship opportunity is offered on a fixed-term contract basis.
- Stipend: The position provides a training allowance in accordance with company policy and applicable industry standards.
- Location: Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, South Africa.
- Relocation: No relocation support is available. Applicants must be based locally or willing to work within the specified region.
- Employment Equity: Appointments will be made in alignment with BevCo’s Employment Equity Plan and talent development priorities. Preference will be given to suitably qualified South African applicants.
