What Are the Best UNDP Multiple Opportunities Available?

The UNDP People Programmes target emerging talent populations. Job opportunities falling under these programs may be advertised individually or as part of a roster. Application criteria and job features are specific to each program, as detailed below. To make sure you are notified when we launch our next call for applications.
Here are The Best UNDP Multiple Opportunities For You

Internships

UNDP provides internship opportunities to students (those completing a Master’s or in the last year of their Bachelor’s) and to recent graduates (up to 1 year post-graduation) who are interested in development and share our vision. These practical experiences, whether in UNDP country offices, regional hubs, or the New York headquarters, provide a taste of UNDP’s work and community.
UNDP internships may last up to six months. Exceptionally, internships may last 9 months when completed for academic credit. They may be completed in person or remotely, as detailed in the vacancy announcement. All interns receive a monthly stipend that varies by country of assignment and whether the internship is in-person or remote.
All of our internships are advertised on the UNDP Job Page. If your application is deemed of interest, you will be invited to an interview by the hiring UNDP office.

Fellowships

UNDP provides fellowship assignments to students, recent graduates, and mid-career professionals from diverse backgrounds. They may be funded either by UNDP or by a partner institution that has agreed with UNDP. Those selected as UNDP fellows have the opportunity to experience the day-to-day work of international development within the UN for up to 12 months. Fellows receive a monthly stipend that varies by country of assignment. Please check the UNDP Fellowship Policy for more information.

UNDP Graduates

The UNDP Graduate Programme is a two-year young talent development program for recent graduates from UNDP program countries (those in which UNDP is directly engaged) who hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree and are interested in international development.
This program helps fuel the next generation of the UNDP workforce while infusing the organization with new and diverse perspectives. Women and/or individuals from minority groups, indigenous peoples, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Graduates who are the first generation in their family to attend university are also strongly encouraged to apply.
The next recruitment campaign is in progress. If you are interested in joining our Graduate Programme, please keep an eye on the UNDP Job Page and on our social media channels. These opportunities can be found in any UN member state.
Opportunities are found in every country where a program is established to address people’s needs. The UN’s employment policies are nondiscriminatory, and individuals with the required qualifications can be hired from any country worldwide. There are projects in developing and developed countries across all continents.
There are projects across different careers, from doctors and engineers to social scientists and other professionals, depending on the needs of a given community. UNDP supports the UN’s primary objective of maintaining peace while meeting people’s needs.
UNDP operates in all UN member states to improve the lives of people worldwide. The UN, through its volunteer program, exposes young professionals to people in need. It opens young people’s minds to realities they never knew before.
